Our Trustees

Our Board members bring a diverse wealth of relevant experience to our organisation.

There are currently eight trustees:

Eileen Thomas (Chair of the Board) is an architect and planner with thirty years local authority experience, twenty of these as a director, followed by similar roles in the private sector running a variety of environmental and regeneration functions. She was until recently a trustee of an Islington charity for people with mental health issues. She has been associated with Lambeth Accord since 2018.

Aubrey Ayoade was born-and-bred in Lambeth where he currently resides. As a child of the seventies, he spent many a shopping weekend in the sheltered labyrinth of Brixton Market as his parents bartered and negotiated for exotic provisions. Here, he learned about the importance of community, cooperation and shared optimism.
His career experience includes construction, structural engineering and infrastructure project management. He has been associated with Lambeth Accord since 2017

Benedict Treloar is a Chartered Financial Analyst with over a decade’s experience as a risk manager and quantitative analyst. He lives in Lambeth and has lived experience of disability through his family. He has been associated with Lambeth Accord since 2022.

Boz Borowy was, until his retirement, the director of a large local learning disability charity. He has forty years experience of working in the Lambeth voluntary sector with disability organisations. He has been associated with Lambeth Accord since 2000

David Strong was the director of a local disability advice and information charity and has forty years experience of working in the statutory and voluntary sectors in Lambeth. He has been associated with Lambeth Accord as a trustee since 2009.

Hilary Adams, born and bred in Lambeth, is a Chartered Accountant with over forty years experience, and a strong interest in disability issues. She provides support for a wide range of third sector organisations. She has been associated with Lambeth Accord since 2017.

Hugh Lansdowne has 30 years experience in the voluntary sector, including working with people with disabilities, setting up credit unions and supporting local law centres. He has been associated with Lambeth Accord since 1995.

Steven Pidwill is an architect and project manager with forty years experience of urban design and masterplanning, and new and refurbished building projects for community use and education, science and innovation, and housing. He has been associated with Lambeth Accord since 2022.
